SWN To Debut New Karting Podcast

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Steering Wheel Nation will add a brand new monthly podcast focused exclusively on kart racing to the lineup of motorsports shows they currently produce. The new show will be called “KartKast”.

KartKast will make its debut on Friday, February 10th on SWN’s exclusive behind-the-wall subscriber community, which goes live on Wednesday, February 8th.

The February episode will also be available on SWN’s Facebook, Twitter and Instagram  (@TheWheelNation) as a free preview.  Future monthly episodes will be available on the subscriber platform only.

The show will be hosted by SWN’s founder Tom Baker, with Keith Shampine from KartLounge.com and others contributing their expertise as well.  There will be exclusive interviews and coverage of both 2-cycle and 4-cycle sprint and road race karting as well as dirt track oval.

The show will run between 30 and 60 minutes each month, with special mini-episodes throughout the year to preview or recap major events or as news warrants.

“We are excited to get this podcast going,” Baker said. “Scott Heath and Roll Steer Performance are supporting our efforts to bring more light to kart racing through our magazine, our community and the podcast.  We’ll have Scott on periodically to talk about his new chassis, on which he got a huge win at Daytona to finish the season.  We’ll talk WKA, CKNA, all the two-cycle series as well as dirt, and each show will be a different mix of content. We love karting and we’re  looking forward to adding KartKast to our growing lineup of shows.”
