HANKS RACING
Brandon Hanks Motorsports has been in operation since March of 2006 with my parents, David and Sandy Hanks, at the helm.
Our first year racing we were technically “Dirt Slingers Racing” (Dad came up with the name and thought it was cool). We raced karts from 2006 to the end of 2009 and then progressed over into micro sprints racing a couple of years.
At the end of 2011, we had our first sprint car racing 305’s locally but only 2 races in we started racing the 360. December of 2012, I had the opportunity to test for Bobby Gerhart in the ARCA Series at Daytona placing 3rd overall at 17 years old. In 2016 we started racing both 360 and 410 and have been ever since

“I can’t put into words how thankful I am to have the opportunity to drive racecars and compete against some of the best to ever sit in the seat of a car and even more that some of those include heroes of mine. I am thankful for every last person that chooses to follow our team every week and support us through both the good and bad nights.
I am also grateful for those that make it possible to live out the dream starting with my wife Kaiden who is soldiering on day today with a little one on the way.
My parents who have been supportive from day one in racing karts starting in 2006, believing in me and continuing to push me further along in my career.
My friends and family have all helped in one way or another whether posting on social media, financing, or moral support week to week and I can’t thank them enough.
Thank you also to the fans without whom it wouldn’t be worth doing. Race fans are the best fans there are!

Mission Statement
Auto-racing is more than a sport, it’s our family’s life. As the son of a driver, I believe I was born to do this, and I want to show others that you can shoot for the stars and chase your dreams.
I am a firm believer in GOD’s plan for my life and have been driven to find speed since I can remember. Racing is my passion and I want to be able to use that passion to guide me up the auto-racing ranks and someday race in the NASCAR Cup Series.
My family believes in working hard, never giving up and digging in when the odds are stacked against you. Trust and integrity are the hallmarks of our organization.
We look out for our fellow racers and cheer them on and believe that success isn’t just found in wins, it’s found in everyday experiences on and off the track too.
